Remo Nogarotto provides Crosby Textor clients with a unique blend of political, corporate and investment banking skills.

Remo was formerly the Chief Executive of the Housing Industry Association, General Manager Business Development Boral Ltd and for the past four years has been based in Europe acting as a senior adviser to Macquarie Capital (Europe). He has also served on Macquarie Capital's European Advisory Board. Remo has also been a member of a number of economic missions jointly coordinated by Austrade and European Embassies designed to open up reciprocal market opportunities in Australia and Europe for targeted industry sectors.

His business experience and time in Europe has resulted in Remo being regularly sought for comment by the Australian media on political and economic events in that part of the world and he is a weekly contributor to Radio 2UE’s “European report”.

Remo is also a former State Director of the NSW Liberal Party and has been involved in the coordination of both State and Federal election campaigns.

Remo's experience with both the corporate and political sectors allows him to provide clients with a valuable insight into how to best construct arguments and proposals for all levels of Government. His understanding of the importance of balance sheet dynamics means that Crosby|Textor is able to provide clients with carefully weighted political counsel without ever losing sight of the need for government proposals to be founded on sound fiscal principles. In this regard his experience in Europe working on Public Private Partnership (PPPs) models in both the social and economic infrastructure spaces is as unique as it is valued by clients.

Remo holds a degree in Economics from Sydney University. As Chief Executive Remo will be responsible for further developing Crosby|Textor's already impressive international profile as well as servicing key clients in Australia.
