As Australia 's most successful pollster and campaign strategist, Mark Textor is acknowledged as the most astute judge of public sentiment in Australia today.
His unique grasp of public opinion and success in delivering winning strategic advice to public and private sector clients prompted Business Review Weekly (BRW) to include him in its list of Australia 's 50 Most Influential People in Australian Business (2000). The Australian Financial Review also named Mark as one of the 10 most powerful people in Australia in 2007. He was the youngest figure honoured in both the BRW and the AFR lists in 2000 and 2002. These publications recognized Mark's ability to delve deeper into the critical factors that drive consumer, investor and voter behaviour; and devise strategies and tactics to influence it.

Mark has earned the recognition of some of Australia 's most respected commentators and academics for his work, which has also included counsel for some of the most significant investor and consumer communications campaigns in Australia.
Mark's direct clients have included governments, premiers and opposition leaders in six countries and the CEOs and Boards of major Australian and multi-national companies in a broad range of industries, including; mining, fast moving consumer goods (FMCG), pharmaceutical, retail, financial services, banking (“Big Four”), tobacco, renewable energies, oil, gas and farming sectors.
He has also been engaged by more than 20 premier national industry associations, including the Australian Bankers' Association, the Business Council of Australia and Free TV.
Mark is responsible for the exclusive qualitative research used by The Australian newspaper for its ‘Investor Jury' study, the first of its kind to systematically depth survey retail investors large and small.
Prior to founding Crosby|Textor, Mark was Australasian Managing Director and one of the three founding Asia-Pacific team leaders of Wirthlin Worldwide, a USD$60+ million dollar market research firm, helping to establish offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Canberra and Sydney.
Mark holds a degree in Economics from The Australian National University. He is a full member of the Australian Market & Social Research Society (AMSRS). Significantly, Mark is often asked to provide insights into true public opinion by the Society to feed back to its members.
Mark was born and raised in the Northern Territory .
