Carrington brings to Crosby|Textor Digital/Social Media, Online Sales Marketing and Campaign experience gained through years of working with SingTel Optus.

Carrington has developed a range of practical online skills, including: understanding audiences, strategic thinking, creative concepts, and directing the development of interactive digital content and platforms. He has a passion for online communication, social media and politics.

Carrington joined Crosby|Textor after working with SingTel Optus, managing the customer interaction for the Optus online shop from marketing, sales and support perspective. Carrington worked in the Optus Sales & Marketing teams and worked in a number of campaign positions for all Optus products. Carrington was involved in many other projects with Optus. Most notably, creating the Australian off-shoot Corporate Social Responsibility campaign 'The It Gets Better' project and as a result Optus was the first corporate Australian company to deliver a message of hope to a diverse group in the community. The social media phenomenon went viral in the U.S. View it here  It Gets Better - Shortly after, many Australian companies adopted the project including Telstra.

Carrington has also campaigned for the Australian Liberal Party during its 2010 Federal Election and other state and by-elections. Carrington also volunteered for the Liberal party when Kelly O’Dwyer sought the federal seat of Higgins during a by-election when Former Federal Treasurer Peter Costello resigned. 

Carrington's skills and business acumen is used to complement Crosby|Textor's off and online campaigns capability, to provide an additional key influencer and communications tool for its campaigns.

Carrington has completed a Business Marketing Executive Certificate with Monash University and a Telecommunications Certificate through Optus College. Carrington is presently studying his Masters degree in Business.
